<p>Also, just a clarification: this mailing list is a mailing list, not a newsletter.</p>
<p>I am not paid to send over any messages and I am doing it in my spare time out of joy and care. </p>
<p>In no ways it relates to my job at Goldsmiths, I am mainly just hosting the list for EMCT students and alumni on my server located in NL.</p>
<p>The idea was that you guys would use it to share interesting conversations and opportunities.</p>
<p>Not that I undertake the duty to inform you all beyond the VLE and the dozens of official channels you already have.</p>
<p>The function of mailing lists, which are part of the Net 1.0, is to create community not advertise.</p>
